Set around a scenic reservoir, Cherry Creek State Park is an ideal spot to stretch your legs, with more than 50 kilometres of hiking and cycling trails. Take a dip at the man-made beach, go paddle boating on the water or enjoy a picnic amidst the rolling hills of its prairie landscapes.
One of the best ways to experience Cherry Creek State Park is on horseback with the highly-skilled team at 12 Mile Stables. Join one of their group riding excursions or opt for a private tour of the park while keeping an eye out for coyote, beaver, racoon and white-tailed deer.
