I was unhappy because I had booked a room with a view of the River and the room they gave us had a wall on the balcony where you couldn't see anything. If I stood up you could see a river but not of our interest. When I asked for the change I was told they would have it available the next day but when you open your suitcases it's hard to pack... So I was disappointed because when you come to a place from the other side of the world you want the country you're visiting to show you the best herself.

LikedThis is a fantastic hotel in Hoi An. Beautiful place with great pools and impeccable service from it's wonderful staff. Free shuttle to the beach, which is well worth a visit. Restaurant is fantastic too, but plenty of other places to eat, within easy walking (or Grab ride) distance of the hotel.
DislikedThere was absolutely nothing wrong with this hotel or it's service.

We were able to return to Rivertown from our last trip and again there was no disappointment. The staff (Le, Quoc, Tram, and Nga) from the front of the house and back of the house was excellent. It was a very welcome feeling to be recognized by the staff and Le even remembered my name. Words and stars could not truly express the excellent service we received. We had a very early flight and because we would miss breakfast, the staff prepared a breakfast pack for us to take to the airport. We look forward to returning again!

LikedBrekky was fab, staff were lovely, rooms were comfy & clean! About a 10 min walk into the old town. We also took the free shuttle to A Bang beach which was easy and a great day out!

Great location, really pleasant and clean rooms, but the thing that makes this such a good place to stay are the staff. All of the people are incredibly helpful and generous with their time and advice. Thanks for making our visit to Vietnam that much better.
